The People Connection

The People Connection Napa County Consumer Self Help, is a consumer oriented, consumer facilitated, organized, and coordinated support group for current and former Mental Health Consumers both private and public.

We offer support and socialization for all Consumers from age 18 to 80.
Are you interested in becoming more self-empowered?
Would you like to network with other Mental Health Consumers about employment and housing possibilities?
Do you want to have input about the changing Napa County Mental Health services and programs?
Do you want to help consumers have more consumer run groups & activities?
Do you want to feel the support, friendship, and understanding from your fellow consumers?
If the answer to any of these questions is YES, we would like to extend an open invitation to you from the group to come to a meeting.

Our Mission Statement

The Napa County Consumer Self Help Group is a collection of Mental Health Consumers with these common goals:

• To reach out to, include, and welcome Mental Health Consumers
• To assist individuals in becoming self empowered
• To establish and maintain a support network
• To provide peer counseling and to share information
• To advocate for our rights and the rights of others
• To overcome the stigma of Mental Illness
• To provide information and education on Mental Health Issues
• To help ourselves and each other towards independence
